Towards Sustainability is partnering with the GRASFI Conference
An opportunity to support international academic research on sustainable finance
Towards Sustainability is pleased to support the 9th edition of the GRASFI Conference that will be hosted by HEC Liège from 24 to 26 August 2026.
At a time when Europe is simplifying its ESG rules and the debate on sustainability is becoming increasingly polarised, maintaining a credible and independent standard has never been more difficult — nor more necessary. In a context marked by fears of greenwashing and the politicisation of the debate, credibility and transparency towards investors are fundamental to advancing sustainable finance. Supporting the Global Research Alliance for Sustainable Finance and Investment (GRASFI) Conference means extending this commitment: investing in rigorous academic research that underpins these standards. Hosting such a global conference in Belgium also represents an excellent opportunity to connect the international academic community with the realities on the ground in Europe, and to promote ongoing dialogue between research and practice.
This year, the GRASFI Conference features 70 research papers, two keynote addresses with roundtables over three days, promoting high quality multi-disciplinary research on Sustainable Finance and Investment.
More information on the agenda and speakers is available on the Conference's website.
